Private Sessions
Private Sessions are conducted in our brand new training center in Gilford NH. Or can be conducted in the privacy of your own home for an added fee.
Lessons are typically 1 hour long. We have experience and expertise in behavior modification of serious behavior problems including aggression. Your behavior consultation will be customized to your dog and his/her specific needs. It will include a unique plan for you and your dog, as well as follow up email or phone calls for support.
You will receive a homework-like plan of action that is customized to each individual situation. Handouts may be given to guide owners in the right direction and to get everyone in the household on the same page.
Private lessons are currently offered Monday-Thursdays. Please be aware that evenings book up the fastest and may be limited.

Zoom Lessons
Do you live far from our area? Or maybe you want us to observe your dog’s behavior in a way that isn’t going to be interrupted by our presence.
This one hour virtual lesson is perfect for both and can be suited for all behavioral issues. It will include an assessment as well as a training plan specifically created for you and your dog.

4 Week Private Obedience Course
This packaged rate course includes one hour of private lesson per week for four weeks.
This course is for a dog or puppy of any age and can be helpful especially if just adding a new dog to your family. We do have a set list of obedience skills We would like to teach (attention to name, sit, down, stay, wait, loose-leash walking, heel, leave it, no jumping, no nipping, house-training, come etc.) but we also like to add things that each owner requests, making this a unique one on one experience. We even offer a course to teach just tricks! (Great fun for kids!)

4 Week Private Reactive Recovery Course
This packaged rate course includes an hour long introduction lesson followed by three half hour lessons out and about in carefully selected outdoor locations (within the Gilford/Laconia/Tilton area only).
Does your dog bark and lunge at other dogs, people, or cars on leash? This private course is perfect for dogs with reactivity issues that may not be ready for our group reactivity class, as well as for handlers who prefer a one on one learning environment. Each dog and handler will be given a personalized training and management plan, as well as recommendations for useful equipment for your individual dog. This course begins with an hour long introduction lesson at our training center where we will get to know your dog and start on initial skills and a management plan. The following three half hour lessons are out and about in carefully selected outdoor locations to begin safely working your dogs around triggers.
Lessons are currently only offered on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please be aware that evenings book up the fastest and may be limited!

Agility
Agility is great for both physical and mental stimulation! It can also be used for relationship building to create good communication between you and your dog.
Watch your dog build confidence while he jumps through hoops and weaves through poles. We are now offering private agility courses for dogs of all age and size. This will ensure your dog gets more one on one attention and will have no wait time for equipment use. This four week (30 min/week) private agility course is for fun only and is not competition based! It is all about letting your dog run and enjoy some mental and physical stimulation.

4 Week Private Scent Course
This packaged rate course includes four 30 minute private sessions at our training center.
Are you looking for a positive way to tap into your dog’s natural instincts? Join our nosework course to put your dog’s nose, mind, and body to work. This course will guide you through teaching your dog to hunt for tasty treats as they interact with a variety of environments and objects. As a handler, you will learn how to set up and perform searches and how to gradually challenge your dog as they master the art of the hunt. Nosework is the sport for every dog, from younger pups to older, active to disabled, and nervous to outgoing. A few benefits of scent work include the calming effect of continuous inhales and exhales during the search, confidence building as they find hidden treats, and for you, a bond with your now sleepy, fulfilled pup.
- Your dog should wear a back clip harness
- 6’ nylon, canvas or leather leash. No chained leashes or Flexi-leads please!
- Please bring a long line-10-15 ft is great.
PRIVATE CONSULTATIONS
What Is Included
Private consultations are a great choice if you have specific goals you’d like to focus on with your dog. Its especially helpful if your dog would benefit from a one on one structure without distractions or if your dog would not do well in a group class. Behavioral issues that are typically covered range from serious aggressions issues to behaviors such as barking, leash reactivity, potty training, off leash skills, jumping, chewing, service dog training, leash skills, or basic obedience. The entire hour is spent on creating a plan for your needs! Lessons are typically conducted in our training center in Gilford but can also be done in your home or out and about for an added fee.

All appointments will require full payment upfront.
Appointments are not guaranteed or held without full payment. If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged for the service. No call, No shows will also be charged for the full service amount.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, you must contact us more then 24 hours before your appointment.
